We are preparing a system for searching the entire database of poems according to season, theme, or source text. So, by selecting “Spring” the search engine will compile and present all spring poems. Selecting “Birds” will yield all poems with any type of birds. Selecting “Furuzuka no Kitsune” will yield all 19 poems in her unfinished volume of poems. This cannot be completed until all the poems have been translated, a project we expect to complete by mid-2013. Here are some of the categories we plan to include:
